Lead Labs
The BEQUALM self-funded scheme has three components - Whole Organism, Biomarkers and Community Analysis. The QA/QC programme for each of these is managed by a lead laboratory/organisation:

Whole Organism (Luminescent Bacteria Assay) - UPC-CRIT, Spain
Biomarkers - Norwegian Institute for Water Research

Community Analysis - National Marine Biological Analytical
Quality Control Scheme (NMBAQC), UK
They will
be responsible for development and implementation of the QA/QC programme
and the associated financial aspects.
